"YouXuan Collection" is a Tang poem anthology which is the late Tang writer Weizhuang compiles, altogether divides three volumes. It has disappeared for a lang time. We can not see it untill the 50th last century .This article elaborates gennerrally "YouXuan Collection" which based on the block-printed book(1803) in Japan through three aspects ,and examines the counterfeit book in Ming and Qing danasty. First, the entire article states the background of the book , the motive and the criterion of selection , and also researches simultaneously how it hands down ; Second, it investigates the characteristics of the selection in the collection and explains the influence on the later selected books of Tang poem anthology ,it is known that this chatacteristic has been inherited and developed by the later Tang peom anthology ; Third, according to the characteristic of the poem selection ,it discusses the reflection acted by the Tang danasty society and literary thought,and also depicts the basic circumstances of the Tang poem creation. Finally, this article also discusses the value of documentary and literary. This collection is valuable for not only the study of Weizhuang and his poem creation,but also research of the Tang poem creation and development.
