The cultural conservatism of China, a part of conservatism in the world, will certainly takes the logical and inner track of the western modern conservatism .the new humanism, which connected with the historical ideological scope of China in one way or another, But now Chinese academics conservatism , a simple existence of the object in modern times , fail to be studied in its details. The analysis are conducted in general. In fact, the Chinese Cultural Conservatism can be divided into feudal culture of conservatism and modern cultural conservatism, the later one is guided by the new humanism of Babbitt, Wu Mi and Liang Shiqiu, representative of modern cultural conservatism, is an important component.it has had considerable accumulation of the research on Wu Mi and Liang Shiqiu in the scholar scope , But it has no any result, in connection to this new humanism to civilian groups in the ideological level , moreover , proving a core component of the new humanist writers groups. This fragmented state of China's new humanism makes it difficult to demonstrate the existence of a complete ideological history, cultural history, Literary History of the inspection, therefore it bring a lot of resistance to analysis of the new humanist ideas of modern Chinese.Whereas, this paper attempts to examine in the significance of the culture and ideology to the Wu Mi and Liang Shiqiu directly or indirectly related to Babbitt, by which revealing the procedure of developments, features and values its value of modern Chinese history, in the angle of the theological characteristics of the process. The analysis above has the unique value and historical significance in new humanism of China's modern literature and culture, so it provides a specimen and track for construction in the cultural theories and ideas in the period of the China's modernization happening nowadays.
