In earlier stage of the seventh century, especially after the Tang Dynasty established in China, The pattern of the Northeast Asian force began to demonstrate the multipolar characteristic gradually. The contradiction between the countries, regimes became sharper and more complicate day by day. Final Tang, Koguryo, Peache, Silla and Japan (Japan called "Wo" at that time, described for being convenient, the following of this text was referred to as Japan. ) those five departed or allied, then formed two major military blocs in Northeast Asian at that time——the Tang-Silla alliance and the Koguryo-Peache alliance. As Japan got took part the peninsula dispute directly, the dispute was further magnified, a world war in Northeast Asia——the Peak River battle had broke out at last.It can be said that the significance of the Peak River has a great significance in the situation development of Northeast Asia. First of all, it had brought heavy blow and strong shock to Japan, had to abandon ambition temporarily, became to deepen in domestic reform. On Korea Peninsula, Peache destroyed thoroughly after this fought, It also cleared away the obstacle for the unity of the southern part in the peninsula of Silla in the future. Through analyzing the political relation in Northeast Asian countries of this period, excavate the origin of the Peak River battle and the impaction of this war on whole Northeast Asian history. The full text is formed by three parts, introduction, main body and conclusion:As the introduction, the chapter one mainly describes research purpose, range, meaning and relevant academic trends of this subject, etc.The chapter two mainly analyzes the relations between the three countries of Korea Peninsula and the Tang Dynasty. Because of restricted by the various factors for the first time, Tang Dynasty was took the nonintervention attitude to the affairs of Korea Peninsula, So the relations of Tang and peninsula countries have gone through a period of steady periods, With the stability of regime, the Tang Dynasty began to pay close attention to the development of the peninsula situation. Koguryo began to hard to Tang Dynasty after Quangaisuwen's rebellion, Tang Dynasty and Koguryo contradiction began to be sharpened. Meanwhile, the Tang Dynasty discontented with Peache double-dealer's attitude. Considering had not defeated Koguryo, Tang decided unite Silla assault Peache first, and then defeat Koguryo, Two major military blocs were formed in Northeast Asia.The chapter three mainly describes the relations of Japan with Tang Dynasty and the three countries of Korea Peninsula before and after the Dahua Deform. Japan had sent four envoies to the Tang Dynasty before the Peak River battle broke out, but their relations have not became closed. On the contrary, consideration in it's own interests Japan not only did not agreed the Tang Dynasty's requirement to help Silla, but chosen to support the Koguryo- Peache alliance. With Japan's position becoming clearer, the Northeast Asian force recombination had finished at last.The chapter four analyses the reason, process and influence of the Peak River battle.
