Study On The Pottery Unearthed In The Western Han Tomb In Hubei Area

The funerary objects were the important parts of our ancient bury-culture. The development and combination characteristics of funerary pottery objects in Hubei, which experienced from imitating the copper sacrificial vessels primarily to model funerary objects as the main body, manifested the transformation progress of the funeral decorum and customs and the ideology aspects in this local area. Not only have different areas a certain local characteristics due to the different historical perspective and geographical position, but also they have a certain difference compared with earthenware unearthed in Western Han Dynasty tombs of peripheral local areas. This local areas earthenware which have different appearances in different historical period, also reflect the historical development of our multi-nationalities unify country from one side.The paper is divided into five parts.1. Preface. It summarized the discovery and research of Western Han Dynasty tombs in Hubei.2. In this chapter, we studied some typical pottery objects . On this basis, we arranged Western Han Dynasty tombs by different period in this area, and established the rule of Western Han Dynasty tombs.3. Compared with the pottery characteristics of three different geographical regions in this area, we summed up the regional characteristics.4. Compared with the pottery of Western Han Dynasty tombs of peripheral local areas, we concluded the combination as well as the reason of the characteristics.5. Conclusion.
