By Order Of The Technology Of Western Music, The Soul Of The Exhibition Wu Chumin Family

Taking Tan Dun's two piano compositions for example, i.e., Theatergoing and piano cento Recollection, this paper starts with the summarization of Mr. Tan Dun's special experiences. Mr. Tan Dun is very familiar with the culture of Xiangchu, and with the deep understanding to that special culture, he broke the limits of territory and culture, took in the folk music of Hunan Province as the materials for his piano composing, and at the same time, introjected with the western modern composing techniques, he produced musical works with character of nation and character of our times.Both Theatergoing and Eight Memories in Watercolor was produced by Mr. Tan Dun when he was still in the Central Music College for his study. And as for Eight Memories in Watercolor, it includes eight pieces of works, i.e.,< Moon in Autumn>,< Amusing>, , < Ancient Rank Grass>, , .Though artistic conception is different, those pieces of musical works like some colorful landscapes, which vividly described the composer's happy life of childhood when he was still in hometown.According to those musical works, this paper makes detailed analization and does a deep research in the field of Tan Dun's music, i.e., the background of his composing, the meaning for the research, the form, the representation of the music, etc.. Meanwhile, this paper also systematically analyzes the playing technique, the playing manner, and the character of the rhythm and makes a detailed explanation for playing.On the other hand, this paper also put forward its own view and suggestions in the playing manner and main points for the playing of the eight pieces of works, hoping to do a favor to those teachers and players.
