The Jian'an period(196A.D.—220A.D.)of the Eastern Han Dynasty is a time in our history of ancient literature that a number of authors emerged. Cao cao and his sons gathered many authors who had exiled everywhere relied on their superior political status. They formed a scholar group that san Cao and qi zi were the core of the scholar group. This scholar group was called the Ye xia scholar group, because they carried out their artistic creation in Ye xia , which was the campsite of the Cao group. As the main troops of the Jian'an literary circles, this scholar mostly embraced all of the famous authors. These authors mostly had the deep literature accomplishment. They surrounded around Cao cao and his sons. They toured, drank, chanted and expressed their aspiration. They stired up the first climax in our history of literature.This article prepare to study the scholar group's achievement and significance in Chinese history of ancient literature from three aspects.Firstly,how the scholar group formed,its main members and leader, and what we should regard the scholar group. Secondly, take the scholar group's poetry and prose poems as the research object,study emphatically such fields:tours in garden,odes to things,poems as presents with each other and military affairs.Analyze what the scholar group want to express in these poems.There were a number of natural physical images which formed implication images.This is our focal point.The scholar group started to express their dismal feelings in their poems because of the time drastic change and own awakening. And their dismal feelings result in unique lyricism and the esthetic appreciation.Thirdly, the western Jin literature was influenced by Yexia scholar group in social convention and literary arena condition,so we study the effect in literary creation and literary theory.
