In the internationalization and the information, Japanese faces thenew complexion. Japanese takes the important intercommunion language inthe international scene. In reality, the study of Japanese languagebecomes more and more significant. Hence, Japanese education should bealso adapted for all kinds of Japanese learners' fresh demands.The author, through the process of Japanese study, Japanese educationteaching and comparative linguistics study, has deeply realized that itis necessary for the study of comparative linguistics to combine theJapanese language and Japanese education scene. The author has beenengaged in Japanese education especially for the learners who speak Koreanlanguage as their mother tongue. The comparative Japanese learnersbetween Korean language and other languages as their mother tonguesdiscovered that the learners of Korean language as the mother tongue hadthe following preponderances: first, they quickly made progress in theshort time, and then easily mastered some parts of Japanese grammar andgained the application ability. Even if the learners had learnt thePassive Sentence grammar they cannot thoroughly grasp its pragmaticcharacteristic.According to the above fact, this thesis, from Japanese educationaspects and by taking the Japanese learners whose mother tongue is Koreanlanguages as the study object, and by using the instruction which isrelated to valid and the application Japanese passive sentences, not onlycompared and analyzed the passive sentences in Japanese and Koreanlanguage, but also discussed similarities and differences of passivesentences from the meaning, the form and the syntactical aspects in thesetwo languages. This thesis is made up of the below contents.The Prodrome is introduction. It mainly includes the aim, the presentsituation, the scope and methods of my research. Chapter One is a summaryabout passive sentences in English and Korean, including its definitionand classification from the meaning, the form and syntactical aspects.Chapter Two is comparison and analysis on Japanese passive sentences andKorean passive sentences. Chapter Three is discussion about similaritiesand differences of passive sentences in two languages. Chapter fourmentions some guidelines and suggestions on the Japanese education scene.Chapter five is the general conclusion of this thesis.Through the comparison on passive sentences between Japanese andKorean, the author is eager to reconfirm the characteristic of Koreanlanguage, and then accurately grasp the characteristics of Japaneselanguage. May the research in this thesis help in teaching.
