Chinese Classical Image Theory Of Fu Bi Xing "revelation Of Contemporary Graphic Design

This thesis is based on the soul of traditional chinese cuiture, referring to literature area and researching the theory about"fu,bi,xing"which is one part of theories of imagery to give some apocalypse to contemporary graphic design, meanwhile, getting necessary support from philosophy, aesthetics, and psychology etc, finally finding out two concrete methods of design:"converting poem into visual form"and"doing graphic design in a poetic way".At first, this thesis digs out that the fundamental meaning of the concept of"imagery"is"conveyance", which gives the possibility that graphic design can refer to literature; Next, this thesis points out that"localization"is the inner need of graphic design itself, as a result of its contact with social and cultural background, it shows the necessity of the reference to classical culture; Then, this theis finds out that the object of"fu,bi,xing"is just the starting point of how graphic design refers to literature, which could support the feasibility of the conversion between the two areas above; Last, this thesis sums up the steps of graphic design is"from questions to conceptions","from conceptions to visual forms",and"add humanity to visual forms", actually a procedural process.Additionally, this thesis trys to explain some ancient thoughts in contemporary way, like"set image to clear meaning","observe world to extract image", and so on, which even can change into the standards and trends of graphic design; Some others include"deformation","additional decoration","shared form", and arranging"image"in poetry under categories.,etc. So, the conclution of this theis is an aggregation of both macro view and tiny view.
