Imagery Of Chinese Characters On Design

One of the important cultural treasures is Chinese Characters, which contain the generous wisdom of civilization and philosophy by Chinese Nation.Up to date globalization, an upsurge in Chinese culture is bound to follow the rapid advance in Chinese economy. Spreading the Chinese culture in the world today,the Chinese Characters is now in common use in art design increasingly.This study is to collect and collate Chinese Characters on evolution,forms and shapes,and connotation,and to describe the double values of designs at Gestalt and Visual Perception by Chinese Characters.The author discusses the influence between manifestation and visual perception as the imagery of Chinese Characters in art designs.It is reported that in design practice,the imagery of Chinese Characters gets into the cross-culture information,and brings about a big advance in Chinese Characters and Culture spread.
