This thesis aims to deeply study "Zhongfeng" from many aspects. 'Zhongfeng' indicates Chinese calligraphy as an art of writing Chinese characters. In order to fully understand its very unique art, we need to approach this art from studying fundamentals such as its features, styles, and materials, and then move onto understanding its development history, which has influenced the sprit of Chinese calligraphic painting arts to a great extent. The concept of 'Zhongfeng' started from Chinese calligraphy, but soon developed into the painting art based on the basic theory of "Shuhuatongyuan". In the development of 'Zhongfeng', it has influenced Chinese paintings in terms of their materials, contents as well as expressions, such as "Wenrenhua".The LINE drew by 'Zhongfeng' is not just a flat line, but has its own feature with a full life energy, which exactly represents "Qiyunshengdong" and "Gufayongbi" as the core spirit of Chinese painting arts. Therefore, it makes us understand the key ideologies of Chinese aesthetics and Confucianism such as "Zhongyong" and "Zhonghe".This core concept has lasted for a few thousand years of Chinese history within its own rule and law, and furthermore it has also influenced other Asia nations as well, which belong to Confucianism. 'Zhongfeng' simply indicates "Yijijindao". We are now living in an ever-fast changing world, and everyone does not even have time to look back. In such a modern society, what can 'Zhongfeng' teach us? which can only be achieved with endless discipline and which core goal is not on physical pursuit, but in pursuit of mental master of 'Dao' in a life. Don't you think we can find some potential by studying 'Zhongfeng'? It is the key point of this thesis which I am about to find and share with you.
