| As one of"Eight Yang Zhou Eccentrics",Jin Nong is one of the most excellent painters in Qing dynasty. He is famous for his bright individuality and unique creation achievement. However, people neglect that he is a poet who is sensitive to the world and himself. This article discusses on his literature especially on the aspect of poetry.The text can be divided into two big chapters mainly.The first chapter is about Jin Nong's thought experience, which has close relation with his poetry creation. This chapter includes two sections,one section is about Jin Nong's thought experience. Jin Nong's life can be divided into three stages. When he was young, Jin Nong received encouragement and supports from the seniors who lived in the same hometown. This is a good beginning for his growing. However, Jin Nong didn't take the road of the traditional official career. He visited many places and was immersed in artistic, collection and poetry. He was clear about his life and accumulated a lot of good material for his poems through the twenty years. When he was fifty years'old, he decided to live in Yang Zhou city. His thought was more and more stable and mature, and his life attitude was more and more strengthened. That Jin Nong chose such life attitude was related with his hobby and characters. This was also the reflection of person's thought under the Qing government's high-pressured policy.The other section is about the affection from Jin Nong's friends. Jin Nong had a lot of friends from Hang Zhou city and Yang Zhou city. Jin Nong and his friends had the similar feelings to the society and the similar life choice. They encouraged each other. The friendship not only helped Jin Nong to insist on his choice, but also influenced his art and literature.The second chapter analyses Jin Nong's poetry work and artistic. The first section is about the main content of the poetry work. Jin Nong's poetry work can be divided into three aspects according to the theme. They are: his feelings about life; his friendship; chants on scenery and other things. They appeared Jin Nong's mood and faith.The second section states the artistic feature of Jin Nong's poetry work. Jin Nong had the bright artistic pursue, he maintained the independent posture in the artistic creation. In his artistic creation, he practiced this pursue fully. For instance, he preferred writing"the six word poems","the nine word poems","the mixed word poems", even if creating a distinctive style"three body poems". He also used different verbs, adjectives, images, and literary reference to build poetic atmosphere. Jin Nong's poems have the unique artistic style:"lonely","cold","classical","clean"and so on. Except his artistic pursue, this is also related with accepts of senior'literature.The third section states the significance and the influence of Jin Nong's poetry work. At that time the Qing government implemented high-pressured policy on persons and literature. People couldn't speak and write freely. Jin Nong could realize this point sensitively. He insisted on his independent and indignity. Although a person's strength was small, but Jin Nong was not alone, a group of people were behind him and support him. Their joint effort caused the poetry to maintain its independents and expressing their true feelings.
