| Liuzi Opera, as one of four major tunes, was very popular in Beijing in the initial Qing dynasty. However, It is still preserved in Shangdong province at present. Chapter1 of the thesis reviews the old days of Liuzi Opera by describing the time and conditions of its formation and combing its historical development. Chapter2 shows the prototype of Liuzi opera by stressing the music characteristics in four sections. Chapter3 points out the fundamental problems existed in Liuzi opera for the time being on the basis of investigation on present situation of Liuzi opera.Chapter4 proposes some suggestions on the development of Liuzi opera in the future. The thesis tries to solve the following main issues: 1. the reasons for why few people know Liuzi opera that was once at the prime time in history, then recessed gradually and developed till today; 2. how to preserve, inherit and develop Liuzi opera in a better way. |
