Qian Long and Jia Qing Period of Qing Dynasty was the utmost prosperous period of Chinese academic research. Wang Niansun and Wang Yinzhi were from Gaoyou City of Jiangsu Province,both of them had achieved remarkable achievements in the Classics,philology,phonology,scholium and textual criticism. Wang Niansun and Wang Yinzhi were the academic research representatives of this period.Wang Niansun and Wang Yinzhi had their special ways to research the Classics,"generally speaking,explain the Classics by Chinese traditional minor study and proofread the Classics by Chinese traditional minor study".The achievement of the research of《The Book of Songs》of Wang Niansun and Wang Yinzhi mainly embodied in《Jing Yi Shu Wen》and《Jing Zhuan Shi Ci》《.Jing Yi Shu Wen》is a masterpiece of the research from the respective of the Classics,Chinese traditional minor study and scholium, for instance,《The Book of Songs》.This book aims at proofreading the characters and explaining the meaning of the Classics.《Jing Yi Shu Wen》is highly appreciated by the scholars of generations.《Jing Yi Shu Wen》is a masterpiece of ancient function words researching and it explains totally 160 function words. And it quotes almost 496 items of《The Book of Songs》.There are so many instances and explains that we can realize the research of《The Book of Songs》of Wang Niansun and Wang Yinzhi is rather deeply and widely. The research of《The Book of Songs》of Wang Niansun and Wang Yinzhi huge and the profound influence to the people at that time and the people in the future. Besides the paraphrase of《The Book of Songs》,Wang Niansun and Wang Yinzhi also deduced the phonological system of《The Book of Songs》and《Chuci》and divided the ancient rhyme into 21 categories. The first chapter is"The research of the language of《The Book of Songs》in《Jing Yi Shu Wen》"。Firstly I discussed how《Jing Yi Shu Wen》paraphrases the words and sentences of《The Book of Songs》.There are many ways,such as collecting the instances,according to the sounds,proficient in the grammar,according to the environment,surveying the ancient culture to assure the meaning. Respectively from the perspective of literature,grammar,phonology,scholium and culture, the author elaborates the achievement and the method that《Jing Yi Shu Wen》made to research the language of《The Book of Songs》.The second chapter is"The research of the functional words of《The Book of Songs》in《Jing Zhuan Shi Ci》".The author lists the examples of the items of the explain of the functional words of《The Book of Songs》in《Jing Zhuan Shi Ci》and summarizes the method that how《Jing Zhuan Shi Ci》researches the functional words of《The Book of Songs》.And then,reveals the shortcomings that《Jing Zhuan Shi Ci》researches the functional words of《The Book of Songs》from the perspective of dictionary-compiling. Generally speaking,Wang Niansun and Wang Yinzhi applied the knowledge of series subjects to research the functional words of《The Book of Songs》and such kinds of Classics,although there are also shortcomings.The third chapter is"Discuss the academic thinking of Wang Niansun and Wang Yinzhi from the perspective of the research of《The Book of Songs》.Before Qing Dynasty,there are many kinds of differences,such as academic thinking and research methods between the scholars of Han Dynasty and the scholars of Song Dynasty of the research of《The Book of Songs》and so on. Qian Long and Jia Qing Period synthesized both academic thinking of Han Dynasty and academic thinking of Song Dynast and advocated actual learning and got excellent results. Although Wang Niansun and Wang Yinzhi hadn't the monograph of《The Book of Songs》,they are always highly praised by academic circles. Their academic thinking can mainly summarized into:say everything according to the fact;never stick to rules;choose the right one to follow,prove to be fact;never have blind faith in the theory,do the utmost to bring forth the new ideas,etc.The research of Wang Niansun and Wang Yinzhi is rather scientific and they always blazed new trials and had special minds. Wang Niansun and Wang Yinzhi are the first to discuss《The Book of Songs》systematically. By the research of Wang Niansun and Wang Yinzhi,I want to broaden the new area of Yangzhou School.
