Research On People’s Anti-imperialism Association Of Xinjiang

People’s anti-Imperialism Association of Xinjiang, namelyanti-Imperialism association in short,is a political mass organization withthe nature of “officail management”.It was founded under the leadershipof Sheng Shi cai in1934in DiHua.Its aims were mainly to advocateSheng Shi cai’s political views and policies.In1942,Sheng Shi cai tookrefuge in the KMT.Then the anti-imperialism association was dismissedfor its meaninglessness.However,the activities which were undertaken bythis association were all benificial to Xinjiang and the mass during itsexist time of9years.So the association played an important role in themodern and contemporary history of Xinjiang.This paper mainlydescribed the association from five aspects.The first one described thebackground and process of the found of the associaton.The second onedescribed its development and completement,this section mainly made asound and systematic description from its aspects of aim, task, members,organization, principles, fees, scale, reorganization and so on.The thirdone described its activities and influence on the society of Xinjiang,itsactivities mainly included the cultivation of revolutionary officials,thedevelopment of cultural and economic activities, the resistance ofJapanese goods and the donation to resist Japan.The fourth specificallyanalysed the relationship between the association and Sheng Shi cai.Thefifth one made an impartial evaluation of the anti-imperialism association.
