Jia Yi is a distinguished writer, thinker and politician in the early years of Han Dynasty, and also a talented person in the history of our country. His life was very short, only a short period of 33 springs and autumns, but he has left an indelible signature in literature ideology and politics. Both ancient and modern people have been concerned a lot to him, especially to his fate and the course of his emotion, which is the focus of the academic debates. It can be summed up basically on the "yu" or not. A person's style of works always reflects his personality, so studying a writer also not to be able to leave the analysis of his works, his political articals have been well commendable, and people have given more concerns to his "fu", too. Our predecessors have done a lot of work on the research of these cases, but to combine the fate of Jia Yi with his creative and comprehensive style, and to explore the reason that caused Jia Yi's tragic life and the fundamental differences in creative style, which is rarely discussed.Based on the collation and comparative studies of the timely and old people's research data on Jia Yi, this paper starts from the analysis of basic materials, mainly from three layers about the tragedy life of Jia Yi, the analysis of his fate and the creative reading of his works to deepen gradually .It analyses and discusses the cause of the tragedy life of Jia Yi and the differences of his creative style, and we find that it is the tragic dual character of the cultural personality, to be specifical, it is the difficult choice from freedom to the ideal and their results of physical destruction and spiritual torture which result in the destruction of his life. And through the individual research of Jia Yi, as well as the the inspection on the whole of Chinese literature, we find that the tragic dual character does not only lies in Jia Yi. Taking a broad view of the whole Chinese classic literature history, we can say no matter what time, what schools, what orientations of life, their inherent personality is having a kind of division and making a variation from the point of view of root, although they experience diverse forms of life, their inherent personality makes a variation from the split and mutation, and it is the deep structural contradictions and conflicts that determined the overall appearance and major style of Chinese classic literature.
