In 1937, the aggression of Japan imperialism put the education of China through an enormous transition. On one hand, although suffered from the war, education tried very hard to be functional. On the other, enslaving education was implemented by Japanese Puppet Regime, which was strongly rejected by the Chinese teachers and students. All these shaped the special features of occupied period education. In Beiping, the culture center of China, Japanese Puppet Regime totally interrupted the relatively well developed early modernization process of middle school education. In this paper, with the research to the condition of Beiping middle school education in occupied period, the author reveals the huge damages made by Japanese Puppet Regime to Beiping middle school education, and exposed the crime committed by Japan imperialism to the education of China.The contents of each chapter are showed as below.In the introduction part, the reason of topic selection and the value of this research are explained. The author reviews the literatures of the colonial education history of Japanese invasion, analyzes the research status and deficiency, and introduces the historical materials and research methodology used in this research.In chapterâ… , the author mainly discusses the general condition of Beiping middle school education in occupied period. Through the analysis of the education condition at that period, the huge damages cause by Japan imperialism is vividly exhibited.The following chapter describes the administrative system and school management system of Beiping. The foundation and transform of Japanese Puppet Regime and education administrative system are narrated. The setting and transforming of the newly founded organization are discussed. Through the study of educational tenet of Japanese Puppet Regime and its policies to middle school education, this paper exposes the enslaving education of Japanese Puppet Regime.In chapterâ…¢, this paper shows the struggle of middle school to against the enslaving education of Japanese Puppet Regime. Teachers and students try all the ways to reject the enslaving education. Four aspects are investigated, which are textbooks, curriculum, teachers' training, and ideological control of Japanese Puppet Regime.Concluding remarks explore the reason of the Japanese Puppet Regime enslaving education. The nature of enslaving education is revealed.
