According to "Four Images" theory on "Nature and Human Being Unite as One", this thesis comprehensively and systematically elaborates the aesthetic characteristics of Huai-nan Tzu. It contains six parts:The first chapter concludes the research results in particular aesthetic research results of Huai-nan Tzu. The aesthetic research on Huai-nan Tzu over the whole of the 1980s will be concluded here. Expanding the scope of its aesthetic research on the basis of previous studies in order to prepare the future researches from the view of "Nature and Human Being Unite as One".The second chapter provides an overview on the relationship of "Nature and Human Being Unite as One" of Huai-nan Tzu. It Learned from the points of the pre-Qin thinkers' aesthetics though and constructed a dynamic, zoetic, morality, orderly comprehensive world scheme, reflected the great aesthetic ideals of Han Dynasty.The third chapter elaborates the physical image aesthetics. Huai-nan Tzu combined with "Masculine and Feminine Elements Idea", developed the "Genuine Energy" of previous studies, investigated the origin of beauty from the nature. It thought that beauty come from genuine energy's movement and change. Just because the movement and change, a vibrant natural world was be constructed, reflected the aesthetic ideal of pursuiting great natural beauty.The forth chapter analyzes the life image aesthetics. The structure of human life was decided by nature, so human can prolong life even becoming immortal if following the rules of nature. The highest pursue of this image is "Tao", reflected the aesthetic ideal of pursuiting great zoetic beauty.The fifth chapter focuses on the ethic image aesthetics. Not only Saints, but also any vulgar individual can be promoted into saint bourn. The expression of music is nearest to the saint bourn, can play a very good impact on people, reflected the aesthetic ideal of pursuiting great morality beauty.The sixth chapter discusses the world-order image aesthetics. The Ming-Tang executing agency and the daily life norms were also decided by nature, which makes the social order becoming a show of natural phenomena, reflected the aesthetic ideal of pursuiting great orderly beauty.
