Higher Music Colleges Music Performance Major Training Objectives And Curriculum

The speciality of music performance is a traditional subject of conservatory, which has a history of 80 years since its establishment in our country. For a long time, it has been aiming at training music professionals for the society who will work as professional performers or join some acting troupes after graduation. This thesis begins with the current developing status of this speciality and then makes a deeper analysis about it. In this article, the writer holds that from the angle of personnel training music performance training should be based on the requirements of society and talent market and the school should work out a training plan in accordance with the demands of society, school capability and students'actual situation and then make course arrangements. The writer expects some changes of traditional teaching concepts and modifications of the out-dated course arrangements in the hope of fostering society-needed music professionals that satisfy the students and their parents and the colleges.
