Kabalevsky Comparative Analysis With The Rachmaninoff Piano Prelude

The period of the end of the 19th centry is a transformation from romanticism music to modernism.Rachmaninoff and kabaravsky are great composers in 20th centry of Russia. Rachmaninoff still insisted on the creative style of romanticism,but kabaravsky began to try to use modernism technique to write music.I try to analyse Rachmaninoff and kabaravskys'piano preludes about technique point of view, then I can find the two composers'general character and the difference in order to improve the creation ability.There are six chapters in my article.The fist chapter and the second chapter are talked two points about the two composers general character,one point is about the traditional music,the other is about the many kinds of figures.The rest of the chapters are comared four respects, the different creative ideas, the different tone layout,the lenth of a piece of writing and the different development technique.
