The rise of theory of culture hegemony resulted from the need of proletariat struggle, and the logic development of Classic Marxist literary theories, in addition to the summary of proletariat revolutionary experiences.The culture hegemony is an ideological discourse that has a great of political elements. It has indivisible connection with Antoio Gramsci's Practical Philosophy, Nation Constitute, and Political Power. Practical Philosophy is the theories foundation. The layering of civil society and political society provide to possibility for the theories. Another idea of Political power- "Consent" is the core of the theories, which is also the unique of the theories.In literature, Gramsci established the new claim of "people-nation" literature and culture aesthetics. They are with consistent with the theories of the culture hegemony whose purpose is to help proletariat take over the culture hegemony and the politic hegemony.Gramsci's culture hegemony theories produced great influence. Edward W. Said expanded Gramsci's theories to cultural relationship among states and nations, and established Post-colonialist theories. This trend of thoughts extensively influenced to the China in 1990s. The research of Gramsci's culture hegemony theories is important to the development of Chinese literary theories in the new century.
