Researches On Gramsci's Cultural Hegemony

Antonio Gramsci is early representative of “western marxism”,famous theorist and revolutionist,who is also one of main founders of Italian communist party.He systematically discusses the cultural hegemony thought in “Notes in the prison”,the thought explores the proletarian revolution in Italy and provides the theoretical guidance.To some extent,the thought promotes the development of marxism and provides reference to the construction of socialist countries.Based on the theory of cultural hegemony,this paper explores its origin and the social background,expounds the cultural hegemony philosophy foundation,Then have a discussion on the connotation of cultural hegemony theory and its contemporary significance.Lucubrating on cultural hegemony theory helps us absorb the reasonable parts which contribute to Chinese socialist construction.This paper is divided into five parts: The first part is a introduction,which analyze significance of the topic and current situation at home and abroad.The second part expounds theoretical sources and social background of the cultural hegemony theory,in theoretical sources,the paper discusses the influence of Italian local thought which include Groce,Machiavelli's influence to Gramsci and the influence of Marxism on Gramsci,mainly discussion on the impact of Lenin's thought.The third part,this paper discusses the philosophical foundation of cultural hegemony,first makes analysis on the main content of practical philosophy,it constructs the Gramsci's view of the world,is a kind of transcendence of traditional dualism,but also an absolute historicism.Secondly expounds the relation between the practical philosophy and cultural leadership,find theoretical basis for cultural leadership in the paper.The fourth part is the core part of the article,mainly discusses the connotation of cultural leadership.From the civil society,intellectuals,positional warfare,consolidate the perspective of the proletariat regime,respectively.The fifth part,after expounding before,the last part have a discussion on significance coming from cultural leadership.This paper expounds reference significance for the socialist construction of our country.
