Wang Tao, Research, Life And Work

Wang Tao was born in 1828 in Fuli(now Luzhi of Suzhou),died in 1897.His Original name is Li Bin,renamed as Han,styled himself Lan Jin.In 1862,he went to Hongkong,and he changed his name as Wang Tao,styled himself Zhong Tao and Zi Quan.His alternative name is Tian Nan Dun Sou,Tao Yuan Lao Min.He was an iconic and highly influential ideologist,politician,educationist,and also pressman who pioneered many effective works to criticize realism,promote the western learns,initiating reform,contributing whole life energy for the Chinese modernization.His works have several visions.This dissertation takes Wang Tao's work as mainly breakthrough point,went deep into analyze some academic problem.Firstly, Wang Tao's personal information and experience(such like his birthday,date of death,native place,posterity,did he wrote recommendations to Taiping heavenly kingdom's leader).Secondly,three classical novels' production process,writing ethic and their main theme.Thirdly,Wang Tao's advanced thought from Tao Yuan Wen Lu Wai Bian,such as the talented person thoughts,society reform thought,people priority thought.This dissertation tries to study Wang Tao to make some academic references and make some academic studies through Wang Tao's cultural heritage.
