This paper is based on the text of John muir.From his autobiography we can koow hislife, experience, and the importance of nature in his life; Combined with the social thoughts ofthe time,we can know Ralph Waldo Emerson,Henry David Thoreau and others have aninfluence on him.we can comparen and analyze the similarities and differences about them.Then, from the description of his literary books, the experience of traveling, the praise ofnature, the melody of the beautiful natural, the colorful view, and the harmonious picture, wecan feel his passion of nature.Finally, from his action,we can analyse the ecological thoughtsin real life and its influence.This article from his growth environment, experience, work content and real actionattempts to develop and finaliz a complete ecological thought development track in detail.
