"Placement",to some extent,a mandatory part of the Government of migrants,as one of the important and preventive measures taken by the Qing government to against the various forces that threating the central government,national unity and social order.It is also an important link of the the subsidiary rehabilitation measures that taken by the government to handle many historical events. From the beginning of Qing Dynasty,in order to protect minority rule and cozy up to the Han people,the rulers took the placement measures to parts of the defectors.It provides a modle for the successive rulers."Placement" has some features,for example,complex objects,extensive regionals, flexible application and so on.It produced very important impacts both for the consolidation and development of the nation and the stability of the local social order.The author tries to take the Three Feudatories and Zheng's of Taiwan as central to study the placement of Earlier Qing Dynasty,with a view to get a basic understanding of it,and hopes it will provide a bedding for the further study of the whole Qing Dynasty in future.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is exordium,it describes the main purpose and significance of the topic and the research status,and it also introduces a few relative concepts of placement.At present,as history field pays less attention to placement,it is very difficult to retrieve the related monographs or theses.There is no clear explanation of "placement",so the author tries to give it a simple explanation according to some information of the application of "placement" in the specific context.The author believes that though "placement" is one link of remedial measures of many historical events,its functions and significances can not be ignored,and it is valuable to study.The second part describes the outline of placement of Qing Dynasty.The objects that had been placed mainly have four parts,including the prisoners and defectors of war;the famine victims and the refugees because of war and disaster or the regional migrants,taken by the government;the national placement,such as Miao people that taken by the government to expand its area or realize its domination,and the caterans ,pirates and so on.The government had different approaches and definite regulations to each type of objects.This paper only applies the information of the placement in Shunzhi,Kangxi, Yongzheng periods and the Middle-Later Period of Qing Dynasty to summarize the placement of Qing Dynasty.The third part is the major content.It mainly describes and analyzes the relationship between placement and the whole Revolt of the Three Feudatories,emphatically introduces the application and impacts of placing the civilians and soldiers who belong to the Three Feudatories in the pacification of the Revolt of Three Feudatories.The government took "severely punish the prime criminal" as the principle,excuted Shangzhixin and Gengjingzhong.Both of their soldiers were placed dispersely everywhere , most of their families and the able adults were assigned to Eight Banners,placed under strict supervision and management.But most of the officials that belong to Wusangui were sent to Northeast except those who were excuted .In addition,this section also briefly describes the placement of the feudatories who rebelled against the Qing government following Wusangui and Mo's of Annam.The fourth part mainly discusses the relationship among placement,the Coastal Areas and Territorial Seas Policy of Qing Court ,and the Taiwan issue. It describes the process of placement of Zheng's during unifying Taiwan from Shunzhi to Kangxi period,and the pre- and post changes of the measure of placement.After Zheng's surrender,the government took different measures to place Zhengkeshuang,Liuguoxuan and Fengxifan,other important officials and their families and soldiers.No matter how to place,they were closely monitored.The fifth part sums up the whole content.First,it supplements the placement of the Three Feudatories and Zheng's of Taiwan,and compares it from the application of the policy,the scale and the place of placement.Second,it summarizes the basic features and significations of placement.
