In the 20 century, with the dramatic changes in the world pattern, subtle changes alsohappened in the Christianity under this situation.Theologists are trying their best to establish their own system, which led to theappearance of different kinds of denomination in Christianity. After Vatikan II, theinnovation step was accelerated in Christianity and it has met the demand of newsituation and reborn. In today's society, Christianity still plays important role incountries' life, education, culture, ethics and other aspects.As a kind of belief system, value system and ideology system, Christianity showcasesmulti-level and all rounds influence on the progress of the world civilization, which isthe same case on the Chinese Socialist Modernization Construction.In the west, it has grown and thrived, accumulating Christianity culture featuringwestern characteristic. After being changed, the Christianity culture was introducedinto China by the early missionary. But the spread of the culture is not motionless. Itmakes continue progress in the process of conflict, communication and integration.Up to now, Christianity culture featuring Chinese characteristic is taking its shapewhich has generated profound influence on Chinese modern society.Therefore, we should actively guide the church, try to solve the religion contradiction,effectively strengthen internal unity and properly handle the relationship amongcountries, societies and Chinese culture so as to achieve the goal of internal andexternal harmony and make the religion become the positive power for promotingharmony in our society. Thus it can develop toward the direction compatible withsocialist society and step up the realization of the historic course of chinization.
