Shi Jujian was a famous Monk Poet in the Southern Song Dynasty. He rarely quoted Zen Quotations in his anthology which was called BeiJian collection, even Editors of Si Ku Quan Shu showed their approval of his fresh and energetic writing style. He was in close contact with a lot of writers, such as one of four poets at Yong-jia Zhao Shixiu, Wandering Poets Gao Jian, Scholar Qian Hou, Ye Shi and so on.There was about 13 hundred of his poets come down to us, this number is second only to Monk Poet Hui Hong in Northern Song Dynasty. In choosing poetry themes, using humane images, descriping Aesthetic Interest in his poetry, he was not like a monk but a Scholar Official. With his own creation practice, his poetry not only become the main part of Chan Poetry history, but also an integral part of Southern Song Poetry.There has not many formers researched on Ju Jian, the evaluation about his poems and his thought were more fewer. This paper firstly sketches his life story and surveys his main circle of friends, basically outlines the Historical and Cultural Background of his potery creation. Secondly, launches concrete analytical sepretely from poetry themes, forms and representation artistry. Ju Jian's Poetry has been impacted by both monks and laymen, this is embodied in such as themes and artistic characteristic, these are all introduced in detail.
