Life - Lu Ling Period (1937-1949) Analysis Of Life Consciousness In The Novel

Life consciousness,which means individual's realization and understanding of life,the ultimate thinking concerning the existence,value and meaning,and moreover the essence and situations of life,has a close correlation with humanism philosophy. In the early works(1937-1949) of Lu Lin's,the most profound part is the exploration and insight on the life consciousness with the life's meaning as its core,which was then converted into literature's unique performance means and embodied by the characters and plots.Hoping to acquire a profound understanding of Lu Lin's unique achievement in novel creation,the thesis attempts to,from different perspectives, analyze and explain Lu Lin's early creation(1937-1949) on the specific topic of life conscious.The thesis consists of four chapters,among which the first chapter means to analyze the core concept,i.e.the original strength of life,in Lu Lin's novels,which was the basis of Lu Lin's particular thinking on life conscious.From chapter 2 to chapter 4,the writer means to illustrate the two categories of characters,that is,the strong ones and the week ones who are actually the concentrated reflection,the writer tries to tell,of the Lu Lin's unique life conscious, and the transition from the weak to the strong.The strong boasts the vigorous vitality and intense desire,energy and will who is progressive,tries to pursue and possess.He is the embodiment of vigorous life force.For short,the strong's life can be generalized as life with strength.While, contrasted with the strong,the weak is always overcautious,and tries to maintain the status quo;he stands for the thousands of years' spiritual enslavement wound and the persecution by the slavishness.In the view of Lu,what deserves to applaud is the ones who bear the original force inherent in life,dauntless to go ahead and active to create. Thus,the depiction of their image is a salute to their ideal man while only through the description of the humble one who bears the wound of spiritual enslavement,the ideal man's image can be clear and then the transition can be possible.So,the characters in Lu Lin's novels not only are literature characters but also represent lots of complicated thinking of life's meaning which makes his novel more profound in thought.And the kind of modern literature he wanted to erect,whose core is individual consciousness,depicts special strain between universal modern experience and peculiar native experience.It is of great value in the process of literature globalization.
