Jia Zhangke's films present a kind of conscious humanities, the pursuit of the arts, in front of the audiences, which makes a personal style of Jia's films as an unique landscape in the film field, and emits a unique temperament. At present, the study has been finished that on the conflict between native culture and civilizational culture and on the deploitation of aesthetic space of small towns,which through the realistic film art methods such as the far-reaching camera,the natural flow of the structure, and self-contained characters shape, while the study on the relationship between his films and Chinese tradition, the explore of the significance of daily life, and the pursuit of fiction have not been caused full attention, and the monographs and papers which from these areas to study his films are still less. In view of this situation, this article attempts to consumate his films study through the system carding and analysis of Jia's films. The full article focuses on three aspects:First chapter, explores the emergence of aesthetic style from the subject-object condition of Jia Zhangke's films. It focuses on the life experience which has an impact on his style, Bazin documentary aesthetic and Hou Xiaoxian's traditional poetic films. At the same time, also discusses the promoting function to his films through the changes in social and cultural background after reformation and opening-up. Second chapter, focuses on the theme implication of Jia Zhangke's films. On the basis of detail interpretation on Jia's unique films, we summed up a consistent theme of Jia Zhangke's film: The first is to perform the real and ordinary Chinese people, and to show their light shine, that is the positive mental state in face of beings and life, and their timeless passion of life. The second is to show the development and changes of Chinese history through photographing the ordinary people's daily life.Third chapter, displays aesthetic pursuit of Jia Zhangke's films, that is from the once absolute documentary to the documentary and fiction go hand in hand now, and even the fiction show up more clearly. This fiction is realized by some pathways such as opening up the actors'aeathetic space and the directors'more and more strong personal description.
