| "Chinese classical dance"referred here is a specified dance species, which showed itself in the 50's of 20th century, Therefore, we add"contemporary"ahead of it. It was founded as a new dance plant on the basis of Chinese historical culture, while extracting from Chinese traditional dances typically esthetical principles of dance, undergoing development and creation by modern people, combining contemporary technological and esthetical characteristics and absorbing many kinds of cultural elements. It marks creativities of contemporary Chinese dance workers and shows their searching for new interpretation for traditions.Up to now, Chinese classical dance has been greatly developed with many masterpieces showing up. Numerous brilliant classical dance directors marked themselves with many excellent works. It is not accidental for the success of these works.
