After the buddhism in India come into being,it spread broadly all of the world.Whether the region that belief in Mahayana or Hinayana can find the track of Avalokitesvara.From the the Buddhism into Han-Dynasty,Chinese began to believe the Avalokitesvara.In China,it can be sawed in many tempels and the believer read "Namo mahamaitri maharuna" are innumerable.As "The Fahua Jing" Buddhist scriptures translated in Wei-Jing and Northern and Southern Dynasties,the image of Avalokitesvara began into the process of Nationalization and Secularization.Through the integration of outside national culture,Tankasri Avalokitesvara was produced based on "The Huayan Jing".The Chinese Style Songzi Avalokitesvara was produced in Song-Dynasty.They stand for Avalokitesvara image of nationalization and secularization in China.Through long time influenced,Avalokitesvara had integrated with Chinese culture,it showed the Chinese aesthetic and wisdom.About belief,it absorbed form the Daoism and Confucianism to be component of folk belief.About image,the benign popular bodnisattva instead of stately bodhisattva.The image of Avalokitesvara is the component of the image of Buddhism,it is the result of symbol of Chinese aesthetic and culture form.Through the study to evolution of image from the process of nationalization and secularization,the historical position and value of Avalokitesvara image and belief can be recognize and judge again. Avalokitesvara from Buddhism went into mortal world was the necessity result that adapted to the Chinese culture.It is also a epitome with trend of outside culture in China. This article attempt to drawing the outline of the development of Avalokitesvara image, and sort out the locus of Buddhistical developmemt of nationalization and secularization.
