Under The Modernist Vision The Liu Cixin Science Fiction,

The science fiction of Liu Cixin(刘慈欣) are the most obvious in the scientific trend and humanistic care.However,most of the dissertations about it focused on the form.This dissertation did some detailed analysis on scientific trend and humanistic care,as well as discussing the relationship between the two aspects,in order to find some unique Aesthetic laws of thenovels of Liu Cixin.The first Chapter is prolegomenon,which mainly reviews and summarizes the studies on the science fiction of Liu Cixin and puts forward some opinions.Besides, in this chapter,I also explain the questions to be answered,studying ideas,and theoretical bases in my dissertation.The second chapter illustrates some theories involved.Such as Post- humanism involved by the science fiction,especially the theory of post-humanitarian.This dissertation make clear of the development of Anthropocentrism,find the differences between the humanitarian and post-humanitarian.In addition,combination the science fiction works analyzes the humanism concern in Liu Cixin's books.Through close reading of some science fiction,clarify his affirmation of Post- humanism which surpasses the general morals principle.The third chapter focuses on the Liu Cixin's attitude to science and technology. By elaborately analyze the works such as Ball Lightning(球状闪电),Shiyun(诗云) and so on,try to explore the connotation that Liu Cixin himself declare he belongs to. Using the theory of the Anti- Scientism,this dissertation has excavated the meaning of Post-Modernism.From this angle,we can interpret that in the deeper sense,Liu Cixin's work represents the connotation of Post-Modernism.
