During the end of the 19th century and the early of the 20th century, the Silver Age of Russian literature has been paying the special attention in the study of the world literature. Ivan Alekseevich Bunin was a poet and novelist who had great personality and achievements in the history of Russian literature during this period. He took the arts innovation in the fiction creation, which made him have more achievements in fiction than poetry. The thesis analyzes the characteristics of poetry of Bunin's novels. The article is divided into three parts, namely, the lyricism, music and painting natures of his novels.The article is aimed to reveal how Bunin`s novels integrate the two kinds of styles of poetry and fiction perfectly, which makes the novel show a poetic characteristics in the plot, language, characters, etc. Transcendental perspective, independent landscape description, diluted plot structure and philosophical thinking make the novels with rich lyricism not only in forms but also in contents; highly personalized use of language imparts the rhythm of poetry and the melody structure of music to novels, and therefore the texts of the novels have unique musical nature; the borrow and use in the impressionist way both flashes gorgeous colors being picturesque and makes the novel full of the writer`s sincere mind of the real society in the novels` depiction of nature and the process of personalities shaping,which have profound ideological. The poetic feature of Bunin's novels made his work a unique existence and had a profound effect on the Russian literary circles during the late 19th century and the early 20th century.
