University stage is the individual to society, independent of social responsibility to assume an important preparation; individual psychological development is also very unstable period of life known as the "second critical period". During this period, students in the self-awareness, social responsibility and environmental adaptation and development of maturity, the establishment of an independent personality perfect system.One main problem puzzling university students is to explore the effective solution of learning adaptability for students. This development process is necessary, but some students who can't get good learning adaptability have variable problems that affect the academic achievement and physical and mental health. Learning to adapt to an effective solution to the problem is not only the academic achievement of university students and mental health an important foundation for development, but also college students choosing careers, an important guarantee for the needs of the community.The past, of learning to adapt to, relatively few studies abroad, mainly for some special student groups, such as students explore the immigrant, refugee children, gifted students to learn to adapt to the situation, researches are often characteristic of sociology and anthropology. Learning to adapt to domestic research is more than oversea, but the main primary and secondary school students learning to adapt to the situation of the study groups for college students less, mainly university students and school adjustment problems, the basic analysis of learning at the level of adaptation. As society increasingly fierce competition, employment, social and practical talents to the ever-increasing demand, the employment situation of university students are facing more and more severe, as well as their changes to the understanding of this situation so that they are learning to adapt to changing situation . Researchers believe that learning to adapt to the problem will only remain in the analysis of learning to adapt to the situation has been far from level to meet the needs of today's society. Therefore, in the new historical conditions, from their willingness to take the initiative to seek knowledge, for the recognition of studies, as well as the extent of the individual on the current employment situation for university students to determine the relationship between learning to adapt to study with the reality and importance of a strong . In other words, it has a strong practical significance to explore the relationship within the learning adaptability, the need for cognition, professional commitment and occupational choice self-efficacy.In this paper, in previous studies based on social learning theory to ternary interactive decision theory based on cognitive research needs of university students, professional commitment, job performance a sense of the relationship between adaptation and learning. Study selected some colleges and universities in Xi'an 1-4 undergraduate students a total of 986, of whom 516 were males and females 470. Type by discipline: Science 189, Arts 316, Engineering 289, medicine 192. Xi'an to investigate college students learning to adapt to the situation, and to further explore the impact of the factors that college students learn to adapt. The results of this study are as follows:1 The learning adaptability is difference in gender and region, especially the interaction between gender and region is significant. Male's learning adaptability is placed in better level than female's, from the city to adapt to the learning better than students from rural areas. On the dimension in terms of learning motivation, from villages students' than the city's. On environmental factors, from the city's university students, learning adaptability better than rural. The male in the gender level, city of university students learning adaptability better than rural students; the students to the city level, male students than female students to study adaptive and adaptable.2 The need for cognition is not significant difference in gender, grade, subject area and region. College students of cognition task did not show a different tendency.3 Professional commitment of significant gender differences, males were significantly higher than females. The different grades, different disciplines, different region's college students, their professional commitment to no significant difference. Gender dimension in the professional commitment to the performance of the comparison showed that males in the emotional commitment to continue the commitment to ideals of commitment and normative commitment scores were higher than females.4 The occupational choice self-efficacy in gender and region is different significantly, but it is no significant differences in grades and disciplines. Males and females a sense of career performance in the job skills and employment information and respond to two dimensions on the performance of males than females are, in the personality dimension of self-understanding of the difference was not significant. Different students of the university students to self-understanding of personality, employment information and skills on two dimensions, there was a significant difference between the scores of urban students than rural students.5 There is closely relation within the need for cognition, professional commitment, occupational choice self-efficacy and learning adaptability of college students. They adapt to individual learning in the process of interaction, mutual influence. Cognitive demand, professional commitment, job performance can directly affect the students a sense of learning to adapt to the situation, and cognitive needs through professional commitment, job performance a sense of the two intermediary factors, indirectly affecting the students to learn to adapt.
