As an important part of Chinese educational system, higher vocational education takes the responsibility to cultivate first-line skilled persons to meet the society needs. In recent years, with the development of economy, vocational education has become a hot topic of the education sector. Consequently, college students, as "high- qualified professionals", have gained more and more concerns. Are they interested in their majors? How do they manage their studies? And whether or not they devote to improve their professional skills? Are they confident in their future jobs? Focused on these questions, questionnaires were used to study the professional commitment, learning burnout and occupational choice self-efficacy of 400 college students. Based on the research, the author put forward some instructive solutions to the relative problems of college students.The research shows that vocational college students'professional commitment level is not very high in general and there is a sharp difference as far as grade, subject and score are concerned, but not so obvious in terms of gender and origins of students. Among the four areas in professional commitment, normative commitment level is higher than that of affective commitment, ideal commitment, and continuance commitment. Another finding is that students'learning burnout is normal but not too optimistic and the level of burnout differs a lot in terms of gender, grade and score but not so obvious among different subjects and students origins. And the students'level of achievement sense is lower than their behavior inadequacy and affective commitment level. What's more, college students'occupational choice self-efficacy is on normal standard. There is some difference of occupational choice self-efficacy in terms of grade while the difference is not so obvious as far as subject, gender, origin of students and scores are concerned. And individual self-understanding and employment coping efficacy are comparatively higher than the employment information and skills and social support. The last finding is that professional commitment correlates with learning burnout negatively and with professional self-efficacy significantly positively. And the professional commitment level is an effective forecasting factor in measuring the burnout level and career self-efficacy of vocational college students...
