Research On Affixes In Nanchong Dialect

Nanchong is located in the northeast of the Sichuan Province.The dialect in the city is Nanchong Dialect,which belongs to the Southwestern Mandarin Chengyu Dialect.The affixes of Nanchong dialect are very abundant.Most of them have strong ability to form words and can form many unique expressions.This paper starts with field investigations,and systematically describes and analyzes the affixes of Nanchong dialect based on the collection and arrangement of corpora,and highlights the characteristics of Nanchong dialect affixes in comparison with Mandarin and Chengdu dialect.Thel thesis is divided into six chapters:Chapter One is introduction.Briefly describe the general situation of Nanchong city and Nanchong dialect,summarize the research status of Nanchong dialect and modern Chinese affixes,and finally explain the research significance,research methods and corpus sources of this article.The second chapter describes the prefix analysis of Nanchong dialect.The prefix of Nanchong dialect is only monosyllable,including noun prefix and adjective prefix.Words consisting of the noun prefix "?" can refer to a person or thing,and can be combined with noun roots and numeral roots.Adjective prefixes are very numberous,generally combined with adjective roots,with the added meaning of deepening.The third chapter describes the analysis of the suffixes of Nanchong dialect.The suffixes of Nanchong dialect are monosyllabic,disyllabic,and polysyllabic.The monosyllabic suffixes include"?","?","?","?","?","?","?",and"?";The disyllabic suffixes include superimposed suffixes and non-multiple suffixes;The polysyllabic suffixes include"???","???"and"???".The fourth chapter describes the infix of Nanchong dialect.Nanchong dialect has few infixes.The affixes "?" and "?" are the most distinctive.The infix "?" inNanchong dialect is mainly used to form adverbs,which modify the time when the action is restricted.The infix "?" constitutes a four-character state adjective,with the added meaning of deepening.The fifth chapter compares the similarities and differences between Nanchong dialect affixes and Mandarin,Nanchong dialect affixes and Chengdu dialect.Comparing Nanchong dialect with Mandarin,there are many same affixes,and their usage and functions are similar.However,Nanchong dialects are richer in affixes and stronger in word formation.Some usages and functions are not available in Mandarin.Comparing Nanchong dialect and Chengdu dialect,most of the affixes are common and the usage is similar.However,Nanchong dialect has a stronger ability to form the word "?" and "?",and the reduplicated suffixes are more abundant.Chapter Six is conclusion.Summarize and conclude the main content of the thesis,point out the shortcomings and further consider the future development of this paper.
