Gender inequalities in the world most of peoples and cultures have different levels of existence, and China is no exception. The pre-Qin period is the origin of traditional Chinese culture, and the idea of "treatment of women as inferiors" in ancient Chinese society is also sophisticated concepts and stereotypes during this period. Therefore, this use of gender theory, through the female temperament specific research of the pre-Qin period, we have exploration and analysis of Chinese traditional femininity and gender inequality, which is compared with the West. With a view to China's social problem existing gender inequalities' solutions that have beneficial inspiration and help.This article is divided into six parts:The first part is the introduction, the main study are described the necessity of pre-Qin femininity, and brief introduction of this article will be used in gender theory as well as the main connotation of femininity, at the same time stated in this paper to use research methods from history.Primarily through the study of the second part of "The Analects of Confucius" to analysis of Chinese traditional culture has the ideal personality temperament. First of all, women are as a people's existence, so research before femininity, it is necessary to first take a look at the ideal personality of traditional Chinese culture, what kind of temperament, as a reference to analyze the female temperament. After the introduction of gender theory, can be from the "Analects of Confucius" seen, the ideal personality temperament concepts of Confucius thought are gender neutral and is a complete simultaneously with two aspects of masculinity and femininity of the gentlemen's temperament, it is also an ideal prototype characters which affected generations of ancient Chinese society.Part III studies how the pre-Qin society ideal femininity is constructed out. Through analysis of historical data, we can see the pre-Qin women are one step by step how to lose their original position of equality with men. Under the impetus of Man's social benefits, mild-mannered become the connotation of pre-Qin ideal femininity and the ideal of training standards for women in society at that time. At the same time, compared with the second part, we can see that the Pre-ideal femininity is a kind of incomplete ideal personality temperament, and it is missing something that has a masculine property.Part IV focused a negative description of women and their causes on the pre-Qin society. These women described negative temperament mainly included jealous, mean and low, narrow and shallow and so on. They both resulted in the development of women's distress, but also for the shackles of their own men.The fifth part is analyzing the breakthrough of shackles of ideal femininity from the initiative of women in the pre-Qin period. Part of the pre-Qin women are unwilling to accept their secondary position of disadvantage, striving to break the shackles of the ideal femininity imposed on them, showing the other temperament characteristics that is different from ideal femininity, which embodied in women of politics, military and "right woman" in the grasp at home. Of course, in society at that time, women of their femininity ideals breakthroughs still can not be separated from the right of the man's strong attachment.Part VI is the conclusion. Through the study of pre-Qin femininity, we can see that the femininity of Chinese traditional culture is not inborn, which are constructed by Chinese special social environment and culture, therefore, it is also can be changed. This femininity is not only the bound of Chinese women, is also tied to male development. This gives us an inspiration for search for gender equality in percent age. Therefore, in an analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of Chinese women to seek their own liberation, we believe that the Chinese women's liberation process should be a common process of liberation, with the goal of men and women together to achieve all-round development of the people do.
