Cultural industry is internationally recognized as one of the most promising "sunrise industry" and "future-oriented industry" in the 21st century. It has particular significance to promote transformation,upgrade traditional industries and enhance overall national strength and regional competitiveness. In the new century of well-off society construction and implementation of the scientific concept of development, the quiet rise of China's cultural industry shows a new bright spot of the coordinating development.At present, the attention of China's cultural industry attached to a generally increase, particularly after China's accession to the WTO. China, as a significant worldwide economic entities, has several major industries developing and growing, and the pace of development is becoming faster. As a "sunrise industry", the cultural industry in China, receive a great progress at the same time. However, China is strong with culture, but it is a small country of cultural industries. There's a large gap between China and developed countries of the development of cultural industries. There is only a smaller number of successful cultural enterprises in our country. The overall level of development of cultural industries is low. And domestic theoretical study of cultural industries is generally behind some developed countries, too, especially little theoretical research of foreign experience on development of cultural industries.Based on the importance of cultural industries and the inadequacies of domestic theory study as above, the author summed up all aspects of successful business factors of Walt Disney Company, which is well-known as a the most outstanding cultural enterprise in the United States, according to my internship experiences there. At the same time, with extensive reading on the various types of literature of Disney, the author organized the successful aspects into logical theoretical framework. This is mainly reflected in chapter IV of this article. Disney case is the empirical base to resolve the plight of China's cultural industry development.In this paper, the author used empirical analysis, comparative analysis and public policy research methods. The research of the plight of China's cultural industries' development is mainly built on the base of domestic literature refer to the cultural industries. Chapter I of this article is mainly on the meaning of cultural industries and literature review on status quo of cultural industry research home and abroad. including literature review on Disney company. In Chapter II of this article, there's an introduction of China's development of cultural industries, refer to the official data and national survey of domestic cultural industries combined with the theoretical and empirical information. In Chapter III of this article, the author summarized two points of performances and six points of reasons for China's backward of cultural industries, and stressed the reason that China's cultural industries is not high degree of market . These are based on an overview of the cultural industry in the second chapter gap between China's cultural industries and the developed companies such as the Disney. The final chapter-Chapter V discussed in detail of six-point responses of cultural industries to solve the plights of China's cultural industries. This six-point response corresponds to six plights in the third chapter. Measures proposed in this article are based on the characteristics and experiences of Disney's development. They can be learned for further market-oriented of China's cultural industries, to raise awareness of the cultural industry and competitiveness and enhance China's comprehensive national strength and cultural industries.
