Studies On Development Model And Spatial Organization Of Cultural And Creative Industries In Dalian

According to general law of economic development,the driving factor of urban or region development experiences the transition from material elements to scientific&technological elements,expecially innovation.And for residents,with the living standards and quality of life improved,the need of cultural comsumption will become more important.Thus,with urban or region development,the importance of cultural and creative industries will gradually improve.As for China's current stage of development,after experiencing thirty years of rapid economic growth since reform and opening up,resource and environmental constraints and production costs have become constraints to sustainable development.In the "new normal" context,the only way to break through this awkward middle stage is innovative development.Meanwhile,with the abundance of material life for most people,spiritual and cultural needs become increasingly important.These factors contributed to the reality of rapid development of China's cultural and creative industries and the corresponding research.But overall,the existing research still has weakness,including single factor for development model analysis,deficiencies in terms of the spatial distribution evaluation and spatial elements in development strategy.Based on this,this research,taking Dalian as an example,analyzes cultural and creative industries from perspectives of development model,industrial chain and spatial organization,and make suggestions for future development.As for the contents,the research consists of four components.The first part is the preparation for the study,including the introduction of research question,the review of existing research and defining the spatial reange of the research and other related concepts.Specifically,the first chapter describes the basic research background,explain the research content and framework and the significance of the study.The second chapter is a review of the relevant researches and summarizes the characteristics of existing research and insufficiency.The third chapter is the theoretical basis and research framework to define and explain the data sources,related theories as well as research methods.The second part is the part of theoretical research,including the development foundation of cultural and creative industries,the deconstruction of development model,industrial chain features and the evaluation of spatial organization.Specifically,the fourth chapter analyzes the basic conditions for cultural and creative industries in Dalian.Both qualitative and quantitative analysis of the basic conditions for cultural and creative industries in Dalian.The fifth chapter analyzes the development model.It proposes a framework of two-dimensional standard for the analysis and analyzes the development model in Dalian.The sixth chapter analyzes the basic industry chain composition of Dalian cultural and creative industries,summarizing its overall characteristics and major problems.Chapter seven analyzes the characteristics of spatial organization and evaluates the spatial pattern according to the related development factors,including transportation,population and terrain etc.The third part of the research points to the practical significance.Specifically,on the basis of the generalization of main development problems,optimization suggestions are proposed from perspectives of development model,industrial chain and spatial organization from.The fourth part is the end of the research,summarizing the conclusions of the study and the main innovative points as well as the shortcomings.Besides,the future direction for further research is also discussed in there.The research shows that the cultural and creative industries in Dalian has a relatively good foundation for development as a whole,characterized by urban culture,level of economic development and the cultural and creative industry resources and development policies for further development.As for development model,particularly different industrial categories show different patterns.But the fundamental role of market and technical factors is not enough.Specific categories of cultural and creative industries in the industrial chain has differentiated performance.Overall,the industry showes obvious weaknesses in industry chain.As for spatial layout,obvious agglomeration is found.Based on these specific problems,the future development of cultural and creative industries in Dalian not only needs to promote the optimization of the development model from perspective of market mechanism and technical factors,but also needs to improve the industry chain and layout pattern to get stronger momentum.The research analyzes the characteristics and problems of Dalian cultural and creative industries development and distribution,and puts forward some suggestions for the future development.But there are some deficiencies,including data normative issues,space limitations and lack of comparison with other cities.Thus,future studies need to make breakthrough from aspects of development stage,regional characteristics and practical significance of cultural and creative industries.
