Lu Xun On The Recast Of The Chinese Nation The Spirit Of Exploration

"National spirit" is a kind of common spiritual characteristic , which one nation accumulates and forms gradually in a long historical development process. Its beginning may trace to Germany where a climate of cultural nationalism grew to ever greater heights in the 18th century ,when national crisis was serious badly till late 19th century , it was introduced into China by a group of advanced intellectuals from Japan , so a strong trend of reforming natioal characters was coming .In the exploration of " reforming national characters " and reconstructing national spirits , Lu Xun is one of the greatest representatives .
