Xun Zi, lived in the late Warring States period, his life have been recorded, but the language is brief and has caused many arguments. Xun Zi's works is only Xunzi. The versions of which are more than 100 kinds, each has its merit and shortcoming. The more prevalent version is the Qing Dynasty Wang Xian qian variorum's Collected Annotations XunZi. Xunzi`s fei shi er zi is the sixth chapter of XunZi in order to specifically refute the doctrine of the Warring States text from zhuzibaijia .Therefore, the XunZi`s fei shi er zi has the very important meaning in the research of the Chinese ancient academic history. In the past, scholars have conducted a lot of discussion and have made many results about it. However, we thought that the research works are not very comprehensive, so there is need for further research. This thesis is at the basis of previous studies on the XunZi`s fei shi er zi to carry out a thorough examination.We divided this thesis into five parts. In the first part, we briefly summarized previous research about the study results of Xunist.In the second part, we discussed the background of Xun Zi`s life and determined the Xun Zi`s era of politics and activities at the basis of previous studies. This is the framework of time in which we discussed Xun Zi`s thoughts.In the third part, at the basis of previous expositions of scholars we made a comprehensive exposition about the judgment in which XunZi`s fei shi er zi gave to the pre-Qin philosophers according to the sparse evidence base about. It criticized that Ta Xiao and Wei Mu`s unconstraint action and their behaviors like animal; it criticized Chen Zhong and Shi Qiu`s pursues in which they deliberately refined to clean their own achievements, in order to different from the world to show their noble enough competent public; it criticized the doctrine of Mo Zi and Song Zi was not suitable to the new reality of the politics development of the country.The four part is the main part of this thesis in which combining the results of previous studies of Xun Zi`s fei shi er zi, We gave a comprehensive exposition of the content of it. Firstly, we thought that the author of XunZi`s fei shi er zi is Xun Zi. Secondly, we thought that the Zi Gong in the XunZi`s fei shi er zi is Han Bi Zi Gong. Thirdly, we discussed the academic thoughts of XunZi`s fei shi er zi. First of all, Xun Zi's criticism about every scholar taken "ceremony" as the standard; Secondly, XunZi`s fei shi er zi based on a unified time academic background; Last, XunZi`s fei shi er zi to promote their own political ideas by shaping the image of saints gentleman.In the five part, we indicated the meaning of academic history about XunZi`s fei shi er zi. Meanwhile, we believed that the Xun Zi `s criticisms of the changes in society in the Warring States period and the Pre-Qin's comments in order to embody a strong sense of social responsibility. He criticized the reality and built an ideal in order to indicate his construction of good community awareness and a scholar's academic mission.
