Who is Guan Hanqing?The best writer of Yuan Dynasty?The world prominent artist?The soldier of revolutionary literature?The founder of Yuan-Dynasty zaju plays?All these titles make us more and more far away from the writer himself. Taking a look at the history of Guan Hanqing research,people always consider Guan as a traditional literator,show sympathy for him and all literators of his dynasty. However,all those research on Guan's plays from the official perspective,neglect its folk elements. In this paper,I will be with the other "eye",from the perspective of the private sector to re-look at the unofficial Guan Hanqing and his plays. At the same time,this paper will let Bakhtin's carnival poetics theory provide the necessary theoretical support. This paper is divided into five chapers:Chapter I:Introduction. It is divided into two parts:the upper half will have overall look at the research on Guan Hanqing;and the lower part described the use of Bakhtin Carnival theory in this paper can be operational, the application for the following theory as the foundation.Chapter II:Opening——Giving self-introduction and playing jokes with the audience. Both clown's funny introduction of his own short-comings and daydreaming on and off stage,are the comic treatment,which are the suffering of real life,nasty sex in the theater for satirical by writers,allowing viewers to get the mind in the fantasy comfort.Chapter III:Slang words——"Civil Plaza language" in Guan's play. The author of "Civil Plaza language" is defined as a kind of informal in acting, and rough, and any non-official language of expression, it appears in the popular culture of civil public space. Guan's work shows this particular way of expression,forming a bustling, equal dialogue carnival sense of the world.Chapter IV:Vows——the Search for root causes of civil allusions in the carnival between likes and unlikes. Relations which play a significant part of the vows really belong to "Civil Plaza language ". However,there is a category of "Civil Plaza language" can not be explained with the apparent seriousness. This chapter, the author will put "Snow in Midsummer" as an allusion to explain the source of some carnival.Chapter V:Conclusion. The author explains in detail to see Guan Hanqing from the folk perspective,and looks expand into the civil perspective of Yuan Dynasy,pointed out that in this particular age,learned to "Kuzhongzuole" folk philosophy of existence, became the first generation to rely on "knowledge" known to the world of literary survival. Meanwhile, Guan Hanqing reasons discussed are also eligible to become a representative of this generation of scholars and leaders.
