Baroque period, an indelible part in the history of vocal music, is very significant. The works in that time is suitable to the vocal music learners from different levels due to its early Bel Canto style. It's a common experience that vocal music learners perform some famous arias of Handel. They help vocal music learners form a good habit of singing and nurture an artistic culture in terms of breath, tone, pitch, pace, rhythm.In this thesis, writer will orient around the , solo cantata from Handel, and discuss its educational value of vocal music by finding its artistic charm itself. In this purpose, writer will introduce the development overview of Italian cantata in Barque period, and summarize the overview of the works composed by Handel in Italy. The major treatise is musical feature and performing analysis of < Nel dolce dell oblio >.In this research, it is closely attached to the learning and performing experience of the writer, especially in the singing analysis. Author will discuss the important parts that need stressing and practicing from her own experience. In the meantime, the writer will excavate the similarity with other vocal works of Handel and the valuable of teaching, then put forward the key point of training the vocal techniques.
