Feng river is a major tributary of the Wei River drainge area, originates Zhongnan cordillera, northward flows north to the east of Xianyang area, near the import of entries in the Weihe River fish length of 82 kilometers, with a total drainage area of 1460 square km. Feng River drainge area is an important distribution of ancient culture, one of the regions, as early as prehistoric times, this area is an important distribution area of human culture is one. This paper mainly Feng River drainge area study spatial and temporal scope of the Neolithic, over the years based on archaeological survey and excavation data and the results of archaeological research environment, through the early Neolithic Fenghe River, middle and late temporal and spatial distribution of sites, to explore different period site distribution and the natural environment, to seek the law of the distribution sites in different periods, trying to provide for future research related to some reference.First, the survey, collect and collate Feng River drainge area valley Neolithic archaeological information each time, sort out the Neolithic cultural development in the region, the basic context and characteristics, find out Feng Neolithic spatial and temporal distribution of water basin. Select the location of different types of typical site specific analysis, to explain different types of sites and the geographical location of the relationship between the distribution of sites in different periods of rule. Finally, the application of archaeological and environmental archaeological theory, Feng River drainge area Neolithic culture of place a comprehensive and multi-disciplinary research system.
