Subjective well-being is a kind of positive psychological experience about one's being and developing situation, which is aroused by the joint contribution of the objective conditions and the value of people's needs. As important parameters about the quality of life and mental health, subjective well being has caused the concern of the public day by day. According to the slogan of our country's "develop vocational education vigorously", there are both high academic value and practical significance of researching the subjective well-being of vocational college students.Based on the review of the subjective well-being's concept, the history and progress of study, the theoretical models, this study was to explore the characteristic and status of vocational college students'subjective well-being in Shandong province in the assessment scale (the brief subjective well-being scale for Chinese citizens) we used was made up Xing Zhanjun. The main conclusions are as follows:the subjective well-being of vocational college students is above the theoretical average; there is obvious difference in different grades'vocational college students, of which the Junior is at the bottom; physical exercise has important impact on the student's subjective well-being; different economical expense of vocational college students has significant difference on content abundance, social confidence, target value, physical health and so on; high employment pressure, dissatisfaction about the vocational college's curriculum and the practice arrangement are the factors influence the subjective well-being of the vocational college students; more than half of vocational student have no definite goals about future and they are pessimistic about the future.According to the features of vocational college students'subjective well-being, we finally put forward the strategy of upgrading vocational students'subjective well-being from the perspective of vocational and technical education:encourage the students to take part in sports; teach them how to treat the financial condition reasonably; pay more attention to cultivating students'ability of obtaining employment and directing them getting jobs; perfect the curriculum system and practice system of vocational colleges; train students to develop their ability to accommodate themselves.
