Study On Multi - Volume History Of The People's Republic Of China Since Reform And Opening Up

The study of the history of the People's Republic of China has obtained grateful results since its reform and opening up to outside. The codification of multi-volume general history of the People's Republic of China has also got many achievements. Fewer previous studies have been carried out on the larger general history of the People's Republic of China. The most effective way of promotion and development is to criticize and summarize its own academic history. In order to comb the different periods'compilation of their characteristics, achievements and shortcomings, the author divided the period into three stages:1980s,1990s and since 2000, selected representatives of various stages of multi-volume general history of the People's Republic, analyzed, compared and evaluated. The aim of paper is to summarize the experiences and lessons of the codification of multi-volume general history of the People's Republic of China since its opening up 30 years ago, explore and think about its codification approach, clear gains and losses, strengthen some of its weaknesses and promotes discipline of history of the People's Republic of China, which provide some inspiration for compilation of multi-volume general history of the People's Republic of China in the future.The foreword part of the article defines some concepts, the object of this paper, the standard of selected works, the phases and reasons that multi-volume general history of the People's Republic of China was divided, provides an overview of the present situation about the studies on the history of people's republic of China since its opening up 30 years ago, elucidates the primary intention of the article, research ideas and the innovation spot. The main body is divided into four chapters:Chapter One, which is divided into two sections, focuses on the situation of the compilation of multi-volume general history of the People's Republic of China in the 1980s. Section one dwells on the background and conditions of the compilation of multi-volume general history of the People's Republic of China in the 1980s; Section two carries on a detailed analysis and evaluation on two volumes of selected works of multi-volume general history of the People's Republic of China.
