Research On The Application And Protection Strategies Of Flower-shaped Paper In The Song Dynast

Decorated paper in Song Dynasty is a kind of stationery paper with distinctive characteristics of the times in Chinese history.Through the "Song Dynasty Decorated Paper Special Exhibition" in Taipei Palace Museum,more and more folk craftsmen have begun to imitate Song Dynasty flower paper.With the passage of time,the already small number of Song dynasty decorated paper has begun to wither,with paper cracking and disappearing patterns,so it is urgent to study the conservation of Song Dynasty decorated paper.By combing through the relevant literature,this paper first discusses the development of the paper,from the budding of paper during the Jin and North and South Dynasties to the decline of paper in modern times.The development of decorated paper came from plain paper,and the form of flower paper in different eras had its own production process and characteristics of the era.Next,we describe the study of the cultural background of the Song Dynasty,the overview of processed paper and the aesthetic preferences of Song Dynasty paper.This paper attempts to explore the influence of the cultural environment of the Song Dynasty on the art of decorated paper,and analyze the relationship between the artistic style of decorated paper in the Song Dynasty and the aesthetic preference at that time.This paper focuses on the classification,imitation and conservation of Song dynasty flower paper,analyzing the production methods and appearance characteristics of different types of flower paper,it can be divided into four types:decorative pressed paper,printed paper,gold and silver paper,and paper with floral patterns presented during copying and dyeing(copy-dyed paper).This paper will analyze and introduce the manufacturing methods and appearance characteristics of different kinds of decorated papers,focusing on the differences in the processing technology and detail characteristics between the decorative pressed paper and printed paper.The mock reproduction of Xue Shaopeng’s "Yuanzhang Zhaoyi Post",a masterpiece of Song dynasty floral paper,is used to analyze the technological characteristics of floral paper relics in more detail.Chapter 5 is a discussion of the conservation of floral paper relics,starting with mounting,and choosing the most appropriate mounting method is the most basic way to protect floral paper relics.
