In the early and middle of Western Zhou period, there were Zhou of culture, Jiang-han indigenous culture and Flat-columns'pottery relics, which was a large areas include the south of Qinling Mountains, the east of Daba-Wushan line, west of Han River, north of the Yangtze River. Between late Western Zhou and early Spring, the regional feature of archaeological culture increased, the style of Chu culture was more and more obvious.Initially, we divided Chu culture into early, middle, late of Western Zhou period and early spring and winter. In the early and mid times, there mainly see long ground of house and flat-columns'pottery. In the late Western Zhou times, column foot Pottery, Yu, beans, pots, cans began and copper pottery ritual seem as the Central Plains style emerged in the Spring early burial.The earliest of early Chu culture is distributed in Dan River and the reservoir of Danjiangkou area, which is a type represented by GuoFengHouse. In the late of Western Zhou, the forces began to expand in western Hubei. The Zhou Culture in the HanYan aera and the early Chu culture became Zhenwushan type in Yicheng plains. The other one, along the Jing Mountain and ancient Zhang and Ju River, went down to the Yangtze River Basin, Jianghan Plain and formed another type called Mopanshan Type. Occasion to the Zhou period, GuoFengHouse had gradually withdrawn. Instead, the type of Mopanshan and Zhenwushan were rapidly developed, which firstly formed prosperous Chu culture in the Western Hubei.In the process of development of early Chu culture, which is impacted in different degrees by some around archaeological cultures in the same time, and were developed and grown in the same time.
