This paper focuses on a group of scroll paintings about the boy and the sheep in Taipei Palace Museum. Few of these paintings were not recorded, the other only recorded in the "Shiqu Baoji". These paintings' themes, styles, forms are very close, yet in the "Shiqu Baoji" was classified as the Song or Yuan, respectively. This paper starts from the painting using clothing style and drawing style comparison as research methods for dating and to answer the question about the time of this painting and also study the real meaning and function of this series painting in that time to reveal the truth of in Ming Dynasty. The paper also speculates the origin offrom three angles the figures, language customs, schema sources. On this basis, this paper also study the related embroidery, changing the mistakes about dating and name in order to perfect the painting system of Ming Dynasty.
