The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship among personality,subjective well-being and forgiveness of college students,correctly guiding the high subjective well-being,high forgiveness and mental health of college student-s by basis of psychology.The study used Eysenck Personality Questionnaire(EPQ),General Well-Being Schedule(GWB), Forgiveness Likelihood Scale and Forg-iveness Scale to examine 524 college students and conducted statistical analysis by means of SPSS For Windows 16.0.The paper not only analyzed personality, subjective well-being and forgiveness of college students on populat-ion variabl-es,investigated the correlation among personality,subjective well-being and forg-iveness of college students,but also discussed subjective well-being playing med-iating ef-fect between personality and forgiveness in college students.The result of the study indicates:1.On psychoticism(P) of college students' personality,there was significant d-ifference of major,science students had higher psychoticism than arts students; there was significant difference of gender and singleton on lie(L),boys had hig-her lie than girls,not singleton had higher lie than singleton.2.There was significant difference of grade and birthplace on health concern factor of subjective well-being,Grade 3 students had the most health concernand the following is Grade 2,Grade 4 and Grade 1;Country students were more worried about health than city students.There was significantdifference of gender on relaxation and tension factor, boys had more tension than girls.3.There was marked significant difference of major and gender on the scoreof forgi-veness likelihood and all factors,science students had higher forgiveness likelihood than arts students, boys had higher forgiveness likelihood than girls;there was significant differ rence of grade on forgiveness likelihood of minimalinjuries,Grade 4 students had the high est forgiveness likelihood of minimal inj-uries and the following is Grade 2,Grade 3 and Grade l;there was significant differentce of birthplace on forgiveness likelihood of seve-re injuries,country stud-ents had higher forgiveness likelihood of severe injuries than city students.On the score of forgiveness and all factors,there was significant difference of gr-ade and major,Grade 1 students had the highest forgiveness level and the following is G-rade 3,Grade 4 and Grade 2,arts students had higher forgiveness level than science stude-nts;there was also marked significant difference of singleton on eliminating self-regard,not singleton were easier on eliminating self-regard than singleton. 4.Subjective well-being and forgiveness level of different personality type college st-udents were different;extroverted and emotional stable college students had higher subject-ive well-being and forgiveness level.5.There was marked significant correlation among personality,subjective well-being a-nd forgiveness of college students.College students'personality significantly influenced the-ir subjective well-being, their subjective well-being significantly influenced their forgiven-ess and their personality significantly influenced their forgiveness likelihood and forgiven-ess.6.Through the mediating effect test of subjective well-being between personality and forgiveness of college students,it could be learned:subjective well-being was mediator be-tween personality and forgiveness,personality influence forgiveness by subjective well-bei-ng indirectly.
