Modal Gender Differences In The Tv Interview

Language is the most important means of communication and thinking for human beings and it is created by human beings. So since it has been created, it contains the consciousness of human beings. The human beings are divided into man and woman, so there are gender differences in language use naturally.In this paper, we take television talk shows as the database of my research, and we study the gender differences in the use of modal particle in the television talk shows. This paper is divided into four parts, the first part is introduction, which mainly introduces the related research and the research in this article; the second part is static study, which mainly analyses the whole differences between host of men and women in the using of modal particle in the television talk shows and analysis the reasons; the third part is the dynamic research, which mainly analyses the differences between the host of men and women who interview the people of different genders in the television talk shows, and analyses the reasons of causing these differences; the fourth part is a summary.Through the analysis and the research, we find that the use of modal particle in the television talk shows have the gender differences. The modal particle using of the host is not only the existence of gender differences in general but also the existence of gender differences when different gender host interviews different gender guest, and the differences in every condition are different.
